First of all... Welcome!
My name is Amorie Pearson.
I am professional photographer, makeup artist, hair stylist, graphic designer and I am the owner of Amorie Arts Photography, Boudoir by Amorie Arts Photography and CoCreator, a Marketing Agency
But first, how it all started...
After being a part time model for a few years I decided to try the other side of the lens. I first started doing makeovers, because I love meeting new people and have a passion to uplift others. I needed photos of the transformations I did, with my modelling background (and at times editing my own photos), I decided to try and do the photography myself. What started as a passion project, turned out to be so much more than that. I soon realised that it is a natural talent that God has given me. I decided to take it seriously and make it a career.
When passion and purpose collide,
it makes you feel alive.
The first year that I did my business full time, I had two Huisgenoot covers and a few more Magazine covers in the years to follow. I have photographed hundreds of Women and I have worked with many influential women in the beauty industry including Rolene Strauss, Melinda Bam, Liesl Laurie, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters to name a few. I am also the Beauty Photographer for Mrs South Africa.
I do all types of photoshoots, Content Creation and Videography. I have been trained to do Make up Professionally and I also do one on one makeup classes, color analysis and workshops. I’ve done a mini styling course with Werner Wessels and I do most of my client’s hair.
This is also where the passion for business owners come from, I know what it takes to work HARD, and to never give up. I made it my mission not only to always give my best with photography and makeup, but also to step into the marketing field. I trained to do websites and creative marketing strategies as well.
